I feel bored one day of the usual food I always eat: Century tuna sauteed in Onions. Then, I began crawling inside of my fridge looking for something to eat but I end up seeing the dried pusit (squid). Time stopped, rewinded back to time when I was a lil girl, 5 years old to be exact...
Went out of the house without asking permission from my mom. Silently walked out of our gate and quickly run out! Then, as I struddled with my feet on the round, I began to sing, "taaaadadaaaa, traaaaalalaaa". And kicked every rock that is getting in the way. Then I've heard someone called my nickname, "Neh!". I stopped and looked back. It was my friends mom. She waved and asked me to come inside. So I went. I felt so happy going into their house since she's always offering some food to eat and that day, she cooked tsamporado and fried squid. Yum! After eating tsamporado, I went into their yard, holding dried pusit in my hand and began climbing their mango tree. I just feel happy that day while eating dried pusit, sitting on top of the tree. Fresh air and all is calm.. My mom is not around to scold me and let me do household chores.
(Back to reality) Dried pusit in my hand. Then an instant idea came out of my head. I want to give some spice to my usual old dried pusit cooking style, Viola! Sweet and Spicy Squid Flakes cooked in Fresh Tomato came out!
