On August 08, 2010 at around 11:30 am, Charlie Davao in Philippine General Hospital (PGH) died of colon cancer. He is one of the Veteran actors here in the Philippines. He was the father of another actor, Ricky Davao, the ex husband of actress Jackie Lou Blanco.
Sources mentioned that the culprit disease was diagnose sometime of December 2009 but failed to undergone treatment such as chemotheraphy due to fear of experiencing the pain he will have to endure.
